These are some easy all natural ways to get beautiful red locks. You don't have to spend all your money at the salon. You can try these methods at home. They all cost under ten dollars so they are budget friendly as well. Before you try these out you should know that if you have naturally dark hair you may want to lighten your hair first so that the red stands out more.

Using Beet Juice
You can use beet juice to color your hair red. This method tints hair to the color of the juice. This is more of a gradual change and may take more than one try to get the desired effect. For the best results use once a week. This is all natural and does not damage your hair. You can make the beet juice from fresh beets at home or just buy the juice from the store. - Dampen hair with water
- Wash beet juice into hair
- Let the beet juice set for a half an hour(you can leave it in longer if you want)
- Rinse out the juice
- Towel dry hair

Using Cranberry Juice
Cranberry juice is another wonderful all natural way to color your hair red. It is simple, easy and does not cause damage to your hair. You may have to use cranberry juice more than once depending on the shade of red you are going for. You can juice fresh cranberries or use store bought juice both work well. Using Strawberry Tea

This gives you more of a range of shades to choose from. Using strawberry tea is also more of a gradual change so you may have to try this method a few times to get the shade you want. - Get hair damp with water
- Wash in strawberry tea
- Let set in your hair for half an hour(You can leave it in longer if you want)
- Wash out tea
- Towel dry your hair

Using Henna Powder
Henna powder is another great way to color your hair red. This method is permanent and does not fade as quickly as the other ways listed above. Usually henna powder will color your hair a really deep red the first time so you don't have to repeat the process but you can if you like. How to color your hair with henna powder is listed bellow.
- Get one or two boxes of red henna powder
- Mix the the powder with lemon juice until you get it to the consistency of paint
- Apply the mixture to your hair( use a paint brush or gloves)
- Leave in the henna in for a few hours( you can leave the henna in between 1 and 5 hours)
- Rinse henna out of your hair
- Towel dry your hair
